Episode 75 – Embracing Our Histories
UPDATE: We had a handful of listeners get back to us about the episode getting cut off prematurely. We think there must have been a glitch in the initial upload. We’ve fixed the problem and you should be able to hear the full version of the episode now. Thanks for your patience and for letting us know about the issue.
I was tempted to entitle this episode Too Many Cows – but I went back and forth on whether or not that would be just crazy enough to entice people to listen, or so bizarre it scares people off. To say the least – this episode starts off in a rather interesting manner.
Instead, we’ll talk about games the games we’ve been playing, and wonder if the new generation of gamers will be as quick to pick up the standards that brought so many of us into the hobby.

Episode 74 – Tearing The Veil of Familiarity
We have some guests with us in this episode. We asked the guys from Saving the Game to come on the podcast and talk with us a bit about the wide and wonderful world of tabletop role playing games. Grant and Peter share some games we’ve never even heard of before and explain the value of playing rpgs as a whole.
If you were curious about role playing games but wasn’t into the sword and sworcery style of D&D – definitely give this a listen.
Some great resources mentioned in this episode:
–The Big Friendly List of Rules from the Fear the Boot forums
–DriveThruRPG
–Everyone is John
–The Trouble with Rose
And, naturally, be sure to check out the guys on their podcast site or find them on the InnRoads Ministries podcast page.
